South Bay Food Crawl Part 3 – Mariscos El Pascador

January 5, 2012 § 12 Comments

Our next stop was Mariscos El Pascador taco truck. This taco truck has been on my to do list for quite some time.

It was pretty crowded and we (Dennis) had to wait a bit in line before placing our order.

While we waited, Dennis got some of the complimentary consomme for us to enjoy. Boy this was good. There were bits of tender white fish on the bottom.

Here are the two Gobernador tacos we shared. Oh so good! I think these were my favorite tacos of the day.

Here’s the marlin tacos. I didn’t know until that day that the marlin was always smoked (and salted). This was a bit too salty for me but I did enjoy the nice smokey flavor.

One more shot of our food together.

It wasn’t eating on the hood of the car but rather one the trunk of the car! Look how prepared CC was, food trays, paper towels, wipes!

You can read more about this popular taco truck on CC’s post here.
